To evaluate teacher students’ teaching skills with the Rubric meeting the demands of general education curriculum 2018
Abstract
Based on determining the meaning of rubric - based assessment, and the principles of rubric construction, this paper identifies the rubric used in assessing teacher students' teaching skills that meet the demands of general education curriculum 2018. The assessed teaching skills include subject curriculum building according to the competency-based approach; lesson plans building according to the competency-based approach; implementing lesson plans according to the competency - based approach and behaviorial classroom management; evaluating students' learning outcomes according to develop students' capacity; organizing their self-study and self-research activities; consulting students' learning; adapting to different teaching conditions; building learning environment for students; assessing and monitoring their own teaching.
