Abstract
Assessment of learning results is an important stage, which is carried outthroughout the teaching process under many different methods depending on thecharacteristics of the objects and contexts. Assessing academic achievement at universitycontributes significantly to the completion of the school's training goals. This paperanalyses the status of students' achievement assessment at the Ho Chi Minh CityUniversity of Technology and Education in order to suggest important judgments toimprove students' learning outcomes and quality of training. Relevant concepts areclarified to guide the situation analysis.
