Abstract

   Developing thinking for students is becoming an important goal in teaching.Empirical studies show that thinking is a skill and can be developed by using activeteaching methods and techniques. This article presents four techniques used to developthinking for students. Each technique is analyzed for meaning, specific steps, and relevantcontent in the 12th-grade geography program. The author also gives specific examples foreach technique.
