Developing green credit of commercial banks in Vietnam

Abstract

    Sustainable development is considered as an essential issue in the economic development of every country in case of the huge consequences of global climate change. Therefore, government has been implemented many solutions to mitigate damages caused by natural disasters as well as to save the environment. Among financial solutions, green credit is considered as the effective solution which contributes to the sustainable economic development. However, in fact, the policy and implementation of green credit of commercial banks in Vietnam reveals some limitation. This article serves to research the practice as well as put forward some solutions to improve the sustainable development of green credit in Vietnam.
