Japan's experience in training and developing marine human resources, thereby drawing lessons for Vietnam
Abstract
The ocean plays an increasingly large role in social and economic development and upholding the sovereignty of nations. Stemming from the important role of the ocean, countries around the world are interested in finding solutions to promote resources for the development of the marine economy. Among solutions to promote marine economic development resources, marine human resources training and development solutions are considered by the nations as the most important, most decisive source of investment for development. Japan is a successful country in socio-economic development, in general and marine economic development, in particular. In this article, the author focuses on introducing Japan's experience in training and developing marine human resources, thereby drawing lessons for Vietnam in the new period.
