Abstract

Ho Chi Minh's moral thinking contains many contents, reflecting various aspects of ethics, including the relationshipbetween personal interests and social benefits. With a dialectical and practical view, he understands that, as human beings, he alwaysneeds personal gain, it becomes a motive force for the development of individuals and society. Apart from personal benefits, there arealso collective and social benefits, in which social benefits are guaranteed, and personal interests are satisfied. When there is a conflictbetween these two types of benefits, cadres and Party members must sacrifice personal interests for the sake of collective and socialbenefits. At the same time, Ho Chi Minh regarded individualism as a dangerous enemy of socialism, cadres and party members mustfight against individualism and promote revolutionary morality. Harmonious treatment of the relationship of benefits to officials andparty members has a very important theoretical and practical significance in the current context in Vietnam.
