Inderstanding thoroughly Ho Chi Minh’s ldeodogy in building Vietnam’s advanced culture imbued with national identity in the new period

Abstract

     Ho Chi Minh's ideology in general and Ho Chi Minh's ideology about culture in particular is an invaluable heritage for theVietnamese people in particular and for the world peace-loving people in general. Today our country is developing a socialist-oriented marketeconomy and integrating into the world, understanding Ho Chi Minh's ideology throughly in building up Vietnam's advanced culture imbued withnational identity to develop economic and society is the urgent and objective requirement. To thoroughly understand Ho Chi Minh's ideology onbuilding an advanced Vietnamese culture deeply imbued with national identity we need:

1. Raise awareness of the role of culture in economic and social development

2. Strengthen the leadership of the Communist Party, promote the role of the State management and the role of mass organizations andstrengthen the socialization in building and developing the culture.

3. Properly deal with the relationship between economic development and socio-cultural development

4. Cultural construction must begin from each individual as the subject of culture

5. Maintain and promote the national cultural identity in the process of international integration and exchange.
