Aims and Objectives
The Can Tho Journal of Medicine and Pharmacy aims to disseminate scientific research findings; promote academic exchange and experience sharing; support continuous learning; and provide updated scientific knowledge in the fields of medicine, biology, and pharmacy at both national and international levels.
Scope
The Can Tho Journal of Medicine and Pharmacy publishes original research articles, review papers, and case reports in the field of health sciences, with a particular focus on the following areas:
- Medicine: Clinical and paraclinical research; disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment; internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, traditional medicine, family medicine, and related clinical specialties.
- Pharmacy: Pharmacognosy, pharmacology, pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmaceutics, drug quality control, clinical pharmacy, and rational, safe, and effective use of medicines.
- Dentistry and Maxillofacial Sciences: Preventive dentistry, diagnosis and treatment of oral and maxillofacial diseases, oral and maxillofacial surgery, dental materials, and community oral health.
- Public Health: Epidemiology, environmental health, community nutrition, health systems management, health policy, primary health care, and health promotion.
- Nursing: Clinical nursing practice, nursing management, patient safety, community nursing, and nursing education.
- Biomedical Sciences: Molecular biology, cell biology, immunology, microbiology, biochemistry, medical biotechnology, and preclinical research supporting medicine and pharmacy.
The Journal prioritizes studies with strong scientific merit and practical relevance, encourages interdisciplinary research, and aims to contribute to the advancement of healthcare practice, disease prevention, and the improvement of population health.
