This paper explores the application of ChatGPT, a powerful AI tool, in
supporting pre-service teachers in lesson planning. The study focuses on how ChatGPT can help
reduce lesson planning time while enhancing creativity and developing essential pedagogical
competency. Notably, the paper proposes an effective process for applying ChatGPT, illustrated
with practical examples, to provide concrete guidance for students and teacher training
institutions.
