Abstract
Based on the point of view system of the Party, the State’s laws and policies,
Vietnam’s international commitments promoting gender equality in the press and media,
the actualization of documents indicating Government guidelines (such as the National
Strategy on GE for 2021-2023, the communication program on GE until 2030 or the
implementation of the Gender Indicators for the media, the press have actively worked with
the Vietnamese political system to promote gender equality communication. Currently,
journalism and communication products are increasingly focused on gender mainstreaming,
thereby contributing to orientation and eradication of gender stereotypes. However, due to
several objective and subjective reasons, there are still many articles in general and electronic
newspapers in particular that lack gender sensitivity, reflected in the content, the message
conveyed and the form displayed. The article focuses on analyzing the current situation of
gender insensitivity in the form of news articles in electronic newspapers nowadays, thereby
proposing solutions for relevant organizations/individuals
