Abstract

This article studies the transshipment model (the expansion of classic transportation problems). Specifically, the author presents the model, its meaning, and its existing conditions. In addition, the author introduces the way to turn the transshipment model into a transportation model and how to create a transportation table as well as an algorithm for solving the problem. An example of the model in the rice export market in Vietnam is also discussed.
