RESEARCHING INFLUENCE OF SHIP’S HULL, PROPELLER AND SEA CONDITIONS ON THE FUEL CONSUMPTION OF THE MAIN MARINE DIESEL ENGINE

Abstract

Fuel consumption of marine diesel engines during operation depends on different factors. In this article was researched influence of ship’s hull, propeller and sea conditions on the fuel consumption of the main marine diesel engine. And thence, experiment coefficients evaluating the influence of these factors were determined.
