Abstract
This paper presents the research results comparing the ability of reduce wave, energy dissipation of two breakwater structures based on the physical model. This experiment is intended to provide a better under-standing of wave interactions and hollow breakwater and closed structure. The first structure is opened, it is capable of environmental exchange before and after of the structure, the second structure is closed, it does not allow environmental exchange before and after of the structure. In the interactive process between waves and structures, Wave energy is dissipated better by second structure but the wave reflected is bigger.
