Abstract

Sea level rise (SLR) is one of the consequences of global climate change. Low-lying coastal lands around the world, including Vietnam, will be affected by the phenomenon of SLR, including rising floods that displace opportunities for settlement and production of millions of people; The coastline that is undergoing eroded due to sea waves is likely to be more seriously eroded in the coming decades, especially in the South Central Coast (NTB).

Wave energy fluxs perpendicular to the coastline and parallel to the shoreline in shallow water along the South Central Coast with the NBD scenarios calculated and presented in this study are used as a predictor of the risk of evolutions of the coastline and estuaries of the South Central Coast under impact of SLR.
