Abstract

After opening the navigation channel for large tonnage ships to the ports of Hau river about 10 months, then river mouth navigation channel (Tat canal) is accreted, which creates many of difficult  for ships to the ports of Hau river. This paper  analyzes, evaluates and compares sedimentation researches at Dinh An estuary and Tat canal, simultanous calculates the sedimentation quantitive, which based on the cross-sectional measurement data of 1/500 vertical scale and of horizontal 1/200 scale in the scope of 40 hectares to determine the sedimentation quantitative at the area of navigation channel.
