Abstract

Corporate social responsibility has received great attention from the community. In particularly, in the era of industrial revolution 4.0, to survive and develop, businesses need to focus on sustainable development instead of pursuing beneficial goals. Around the world, there are a few studies about the effect of corporate social responsibility to employee motivation and the effect of employee motivation to employees’ job performance. However, there are almost no studies measuring the mediating effects of employee motivation in the relation between corporate social responsibility and employees’ job performance. Therefore, this article aims to study the mediating effects of employee motivation in the relation between corporate social responsibility and employees’ job performance in Vietnamese firms.
