Abstract

Over the years, the regulations on driving training and testing in our country have been continuously changed. However, whether these changes help improve the quality is still a question. This article analyzes and discusses some inadequacies in the state management of driving training and testing in our country, including regulations on training programs, practical equipments and vehicles, curriculums, educational organization, instructors, theory and practice tests. They show that the state management has not been based on the theory of vocational education and the results of scientific research. These make obstacles for driving and motorcyle riding training programs as well as driving schools to achieve the current vocational education quality accreditation. At the same time, it is also backward compared to the driving training and testing in the world. With the present situation of road traffic incidents and accidents, it is very necessary to systematically amend and improve these problems.
