Abstract

In fact, teaching “Electricity. Electromagnetism” according to the 2D observation traditionally and interpretation theoretically poses difficulties and challenges related to abstract knowledge for students. This paper aims to propose the procedure of implementing Augmented Reality (AR) through using digital learning materials Mozaik 3D in teaching physics, and to evaluate the effectiveness of this procedure in teaching “Electricity. Electromagnetism” physics 11. The pedagogical experimental method is applied to 161 students, data are collected through scores of formative assessment in the experimental group (81 students) and the control group (80 students). The study has proposed a procedure of using Mozaik 3D including 3 stages: Prepare digital learning materials; Use digital learning materials in the classroom; Experience digital learning materials at home. The results of pedagogical experiments show that their learning outcomes are improved when applied the proposed procedure. This procedure is intended to provide a reference framework for the exploitation of AR technology and digital learning materials in teaching physics in high schools.
