UNIQUE ARTISTIC LANGUAGE IN JIN YONG'S MARTIAL ARTS NOVELS

Abstract

Jin Yong's martial arts novels are a unique phenomenon in contemporary Chinese literature. In Jin Yong's artistic world, artistic language is an important element, which was painstakingly refined by the writer during the creative process. So why is the artistic language in Kim Dung's martial arts novel able to attract such a many numbers of readers? We clarify this issue in the content of the article. The article uses literary and interdisciplinary research methods. The method of analyzing literary works aims to clarify the characteristics of the artistic language that the writer creates in the work. The interdisciplinary research method allows us to exploit artistic language from the perspectives of culture, history, society, cinema... to see the beauty, uniqueness and mastery of Jin Yong in his work. From there, the article provides a new perspective for readers when approaching Kim Dung’s martial arts novels - a unique literary phenomenon of China.
