APPLICATION OF THE MODEL OF PRACTICAL LEGAL EDUCATION IN HIGHER EDUCATION INNOVATION

Abstract

In countries belonging to the Common law legal system, law teaching at the university level often applies the model of practical legal education. Since the 2010s, Vietnamese law training institutions have started to pay attention to and develop this model. The article uses historical methods, qualitative methods, combined with objective research methods to study the experience of practical legal education in the world. At the same time, based on the actual survey of building practical legal education programs in Vietnam, the authors will in turn introduce and analyze each method of the practical legal education model. The article also evaluates a number of typical contributions and shortcomings in the application of this model to serve the goal of educational innovation at the university level in the field of law. This will be the basis for future proposals so that higher education institutions can apply this model.
