GENDER MAINSTREAMING IN EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES AT SECONDARY SCHOOLS IN THE NORTHERN MOUNTAINOUS AREA SATISFY THE GENERAL EDUCATION PROGRAM 2018
Abstract
Gender mainstreaming in education with the goal of implementing gender equality and building safe schools satisfy the general education program 2018. Using documentary research methods in combination with practical research methods helps the author obtain the following research results: The objectives, contents and processes of gender mainstreaming in education in lower secondary schools in the northern mountainous areas are still inadequate, due to bounded cognition and ability of teachers and the educational environment... the above shortcomings are overcome by measures such as raising awareness, teacher capacity, formulating and organizing the implementation of gender mainstreaming education plans, etc... The above measures have the effect of improving the quality of gender mainstreaming, comprehensively educating students, overcoming the situation of child marriage, consanguineous marriage and sexism at secondary schools in the Northern mountainous region.
