Abstract

In the digital transformation, data is a vital type of asset. Data and its meaning, which are based on science and objectivity, are necessary for making worthwhile decisions. Information and data are required for assurance and improving education quality so that stakeholders can make informed decisions. The review of data-driven decision-making processes and the synthesis of information and data for quality assurance are done using document analysis methods. The study examined the relationship between legislation governing quality assurance in higher education and data-driven decision-making. Then, we put up the following recommendations to ensure and enhance the quality of education through data-driven decision-making: create an internal quality assurance information system; promote a quality culture; develop the staff of educational institutions' skills; and enhance data content. Data-driven decision-making is the method for higher quality decisions in the context of digital transformation.
