SUSTAINABLE USE OF AGRICULTURAL LAND IN VO NHAI DISTRICT, THAI NGUYEN PROVINCE TO 2025, VISION TO 2030

Abstract

In recent years, Vo Nhai district has focused on developing sustainable and commodity-oriented agro-forestry production to contribute to restructuring and diversifying crops, improving economic efficiency and increasing economic growth. income and improve jobs for people. The objective of the study is to identify the types of use with high economic efficiency and in accordance with the natural and social conditions and the district's agricultural development orientation to 2025 with a vision to 2030. This research was carried out in three sub-areas and determined 6 land use types (LUTs) with gradually increasing production value and suitability. Based on that result, the most suitable type for the soil and climate conditions of each area was chosen to develop a stable productive biological agriculture in order to ensure food security in the area and create export products to other areas and abroad. This is an important contribution in building the new rural VoNhai district with significant speed and sustainability.
