LECTURER DEVELOPMENT POLICY AT UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE, THAI NGUYEN UNIVERSITY: SITUATION AND SOLUTIONS
Abstract
Lecturers are an important factor in determining the existence and development of higher education institutions, including the University of Science, Thai Nguyen University. Understanding the policies of lecturer development at the University of Science in recent years, thereby, to propose solutions to improve the effectiveness of the University's policy of developing teaching staff is a matter of practical value. Through using methods of collecting and processing information and data; survey by questionnaires, in-depth interviews... the article has pointed out the actual situation of the policies of developing teaching staff at the University, which are implemented through activities of attraction and recruitment; training and retraining; assignment, evaluation; compensation and appreciation. This paper also analyzes and evaluates the situation to propose solutions to improving the effectiveness of the university's policies of developing teaching staff in the coming time. The research result of the article can serve as a reference for policy makers at the University of Science and those who are concerned.
