BUILDING AND ASSESSING A RESEARCH MODEL OF COMMUNICATION JOURNALISM ON PUBLIC ADMINISTRATIVE REFORM POLICIES IN VIETNAM

Abstract

The objective of this study is to test the reliability and significance of a research model of communication journalism on public administrative reform policies in Vietnam. The model was built on the basis of expert consultation and previous studies in the world. The survey tool was built using a 5-point likert scale, convenient sampling method, 260 samples of 4 subjects including journalists, officials and civil servants, business, citizen. The tests included reliability analysis of the scale (Cronbach Alpha), exploratory factor analysis (EFA), confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and parallel structural equation model analysis (SEM). The results of this study imply that the application of a multivariate analysis model to evaluate the effectiveness of communication journalism on Vietnam’s public administrative reform policies in particular and policy communication in general is appropriate.
