EDUCATING A SENSE OF RESPONSIBILITY FOR 6TH-GRADE STUDENTS AT CHU VAN AN LOWER SECONDARY SCHOOL IN THAI NGUYEN CITY
Abstract
A sense of responsibility is a quality that should be presented in everyone. Living responsibly is fulfilling obligations to society, school, family and oneself; it also means daring to take actions and take responsibility. Therefore, it is very important to train and educate students the sense of responsibility. The study is an investigation into the quality of educating the sense of responsibility for 6th-grade students through surveys, interviews, analyses, statistics of data from 8 homeroom teachers, 249 parents and 279 students of the 6th-grade students at Chu Van An Secondary School. By assessing the students’ sense of responsibility, the causes of problems encountered in the process of training the quality of responsibility of the 6th-grade students were analyzed. Then, some solutions were proposed to improve the quality of educating the sense of responsibility for 6th-grade students at Chu Van An Secondary School in Thai Nguyen city.
