EVALUATE THE IMPLEMENTATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL AND FOOD SAFETY CRITERIA IN NEW RURAL CONSTRUCTION IN HOP TIEN COMMUNE, DONG HY DISTRICT, THAI NGUYEN PROVINCE

Abstract

The study analyzed the results of environmental and food safety criteria in new rural construction in Hop Tien commune, Dong Hy district, Thai Nguyen province. In this research, methods of collecting documentary data, investigations, actual surveys, and comparison methods with the content of criterion 17 in the New Rural Criteria were applied to see the implementation of the criteria for Environment and Food Safety in Hop Tien commune. The results showed that Hop Tien commune has completed 19/19 criteria to build a new countryside, including criteria of Environment and Food safety. Eight contents in Environmental and Food Safety criteria have been assessed according to standards and achieved 10/10 points on a scale evaluating the results of new rural construction. The research results also show the shortcomings in the process of implementing the criteria, from which the author propose solutions to continue improving the quality of implementing the criteria for Environment and Food Safety in Hop Tien commune.
