ASSESSMENT OF THE CURRENT SITUATION OF THE ENVIRONMENT OF PHUONG HOANG ECOTOURISM AREA, VO NHAI DISTRICT, THAI NGUYEN PROVINCE

Abstract

Ecotourism is a type of tourism that is of interest today, because its preeminent is associated with nature. In Thai Nguyen province, one of the famous ecotourism areas today is Phuong Hoang ecotourism area, which attracts an increasing number of tourists. It is necessary to assess the current environmental status and potential of this ecotourism area, especially the values of land, water and biodiversity resources. Therefore, a study was carried out from 2019 - 2020 at Phuong Hoang Ecotourism Area by taking soil, water and air samples from Phuong Hoang cave and analyzing it according to current standards. Research results show that: The soil and spring water environment of Phuong Hoang ecotourism area are not polluted and within the permitted standards of QCVN 03-MT:2015/BTNMT. The water environment used for drinking purposes of the resort is safe and hygienic, the analytical parameters are within the standards prescribed by QCVN 01:2009/BYT. The air environment is fresh, the humidity is moderate, the environmental criteria are many times smaller than the allowable limit of QCVN 05:2013/BTNMT.Thus, it shows that the soil, water and air environment of Phuong Hoang meets the requirements for an ecotourism area.
