Abstract

The research is conducted to find out the factors affecting the quality of training of the Department of Foreign Languages at Saigon University. Research factors include non-academic (administrative) factors, academic factors, reputation factors, accessibility factors and curriculum factors. The research is implemented based on survey data of 592 students majoring in English Linguistics and English Pedagogy courses in the academic year 2019-2020. The survey results show that the factor most satisfied by students is academic, whereas the least satisfied is the administrative factor. The results help to create references for managers to improve the training quality of Department of Foreign Languages at Saigon University in the near future.
