ANALYSIS OF THE OPERATION OF VIETNAM’S STOCK MARKET IN RECENT YEARS

Abstract

This article analysed  some important contents in active of the market stock Vietnam. The data were collected from reports of State Security Commission of Vietnam, Stock Exchanges, Vietnam Securities Depository and scientific articles. Analysis results show that the Vietnamese stock market has achieved certain results: adding new products to trading; capitalization scale, transaction value, number of listed companies increase, market transparency is gradually improved. However, the number of domestic investors participating in the market is still limited, and administrative violations in contravention of state regulations still occur. Some proposals are made to develop Vietnam's stock market in the near future.
