SOME ISSUES OF REALITY IN THANH TONG DI THAO

Abstract

This article mentions a couple of realism issues such as: the women issue and societally negative problems in Thanh Tong di thao work that was supposedly written by Le Thanh Tong. These two aspects are fairly typical in the work, which represent major “breakthrough” in the contemporary literature. The main research methods of the article are literary analysis and comparativeness. The first method is used to analyze the realism issues that the author Le Thanh Tong presented in the work. The second method is to compare those issues with the literature before and after the work’s arrival. The research results show that, firstly, the beauty and fate of the woman was initially interested by the writer; secondly, the bad states in society such as power struggle, greed, selfishness,... to a certain extent were exposed by the writer. Thereby, this article contributes to the understanding of humanitarian value as well as the innovativeness of Thanh Tong di thao through the realistic content that the work reflects.
