APPLICATIONS OF SOME TEACHING THEORIES IN RENOVATING LEARNING AND TEACHING METHODS AT SCHOOLS
Abstract
Renovating the general education program to improve the quality of human resources in the context of international integration and the requirements of the industrial revolution 4.0. Therefore, it is necessary to change the educational model, innovate teaching and learning methods at schools. The paper presents some teaching theories that are the theoretical foundation for some modern teaching methods that are being applied in schools today. The author analyzes the strengths and limitations of each teaching theory, principles and applications in teaching and learning practice. On that basis, the author clarifies the orientation for renewing teaching methods and techniques to develop students’ competencies, thereby contributing to meeting the requirements of the new general education program.
