KUANG CHAOREN - TYPICAL DEGENRATE IN NOVELS RU LIN WAI SHI OF WU JING ZI
Abstract
Ru lin wai shi is one of the outstanding social satirical works of classical Chinese fiction. The work was born in the 40s of the eighteenth century, but it features the critical realism of nineteenth-century Europe. It can be seen in Ru lin wai shi, the writer's satirical pen was not only for a class that the author has insight for the purpose of satiring the society with the highest efficiency. The world of characters in Ru lin wai shi, from the intellectual class; bureaucratic system to clergies, fortune tellers; slavers... all of them became satirical objects of the writer Wu Jing Zi. In which, Kuang Chaoren is a typical, remakable and profound degenerate. In the scope of the article, we use the method of analyzing, synthesizing and systematizing the references to have an overall view of the character's corrupt process, further clarifying the nature and personality of Kuang Chaoren under the negative impact of contemporary feudal society.
