Abstract

In this period, STEM (Abbreviation of abbreviations of words Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) is being concerned by the whole society, especially in education. STEM teaching has been officially started in the 2019-2020 school year, but the support facilities have not been fully equipped, so the STEM-oriented teaching process has faced many difficulties. In this project, we research, manufacture a model of "mini-thermoelectric machine" from materials that are easy to find and environmentally friendly to support STEM-oriented teaching activities in high schools. Using the theoretical research method of teaching physics, teaching STEM, practical investigation method, in collaboration with experimental methods, we have successfully created a model of "Mini-Thermal Electric Machine" and launched orientation of using the generator model in organizing experience activities, in project teaching, as well as in teaching STEM in high schools. This research helps us to see that we can make teaching aids from easily accessible materials to conduct STEM-oriented teaching, which will be a useful reference for STEM education.
