Abstract

There are many types of body temperature gauges on the market but they do not meet the essential anti-epidemic criteria. For example, those devices are not able to non-contact skin and measure high speed while ensuring the accuracy and repeatability of measurement results and Bluetooth communication for complete isolation. This paper presents a study to overcome the above disadvantages. By adding a co-located proximity sensor to the infrared heat sensor, stabilizing the sampling distance gives good accuracy. The test results show that the criteria set for supporting epidemic screening in crowded areas have been met.
