Abstract
This study reports the ability of photocatalytic disinfection of Escherichia Coli using thin film TiO2 (TNT) nanotube material made by electrophoresis method. The results showed that the average diameter of TNT was 8 nm with 200–450 nm in length. The average crystalline size increased with the increase of the calcination temperature. TNT membrane was able to completely destroy bacteria with concentration 106 CFU/ml during 30 minutes of UVA lamp irradiation due to the breakdown of the cell membrane.
