SOME PSYCHOLOGICAL AND PHYSIOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF PRIMARY SCHOOLS PUPILS IN READING AND COMPREHENSION POEMS

Abstract

Poetry plays an important role in forming and developing linguistic and personality capacities for primary school students. However, the teaching of poems has not high effect because it has not been paid enough attention. The article addresses some of the students' psychological and physiological characteristics to learning poetry and gives some instructions for teachers to organize well the poetry lessons. The results are obtained by synthesizing materials on psychology, Vietnamese teaching methods and in reality. The research results are to show the close relationship, similarities in pupils' physiology with the poetry learning; to give some suggestions to organize reading and comprhension activities, such as: flexibility in the implementation of the teaching process of Reading (poetry genre); Separate and design into a specific learning activity in the lesson consolidation section; innovate organizational forms and methods.
