ASSESSING THE QUALITY OF WATER SOURCES FOR DAILY-LIFE ACTIVITIES IN TAM DUONG DISTRICT, LAI CHAU PROVINCE

Abstract

Tam Duong is a highland district of Lai Chau province, the district is located in a rural area with difficult socio-economic conditions and a high proportion of people without access to hygienic water. Based on the above practice, in this study the author will study more about the status and quality of domestic water in some areas of Tam Duong district. The research has used methods of surveying, collecting information and comparing evaluation. Research results show that people in Tam Duong district mainly use natural water from streams and rainwater. Water quality is not guaranteed, water sources are polluted by microorganisms. Based on the research results, the authors offering solutions to overcome and improve water quality for local people.
