STUDY ON SPECIES COMPOSITION OF INSECT PETS AND ALIEN INSECT PESTS AT HOANG HOA THAM COMMUNE, CHI LINH CITY, HAI DUONG PROVINCE

Abstract

An investigation on the species composition of harmful insects and alien insects on agricultural and forestry crops and agricultural products at Hoang Hoa Tham commune, Chi Linh city, Hai Duong province identified 50 species belong to 26 families of 7 orders: The order Lepidoptera is the most diversity with 17 species (24.00%), and other orders are arranged as follow: Coleoptera with 10 species (20.00%), Homoptera with 8 species (16.00%), Hemiptera with 6 species (12.00%), Orthoptera with 5 species (10.00%), Thysanoptera and  Diptera with 2 species in each orders (4.00%), respectively.

 The family in the order Lepidoptera are bigest with 10 families (accounted for 38.46%). And the order Coleoptera has 6 families (23.08%), the order Hemiptera with 4 families (15.38%) andHomoptera with 3 families (11.54%). The order Thysanoptera, Diptera and Orthoptera  have  only one family in each order (3.85%).

Moreover, two species of worms (Zophobas morio) and autumn colloid (Spodoptera frugiperda) are alien insects that appear on corn trees and agricultural products.
