THE USE OF BIOLOGICAL PRODUCTS FROM CYMBOPOGON WINTERIANUS IN THE PINUS LATTERI PRESERVATION

Abstract

Cymbopogon winterianus belongs to a kind of perennial herbs showed anti-diseases, insects and effective treatment of fungi. The use of biological extraction from Cymbopogon winterianus oil is essential and meaningful. The research results using Cymbopogon winterianus extraction in preserving Pine timber showed: For termites: at extractive concentration levels (10%, 15%, 20%) and 10 minutes and 24 hours dipping time all showed a good effect on termites, particularly at the concentration level of 10%, soaked for 10 minutes was still attacked by termites and only reached 66.67%. For fungi: at all treatments (different concentration and soaking time) Cymbopogon winterianus extraction had no fungi developed.
