Abstract

This study explores the nutritional status of high school students aged 11 to 18 in Hai Duongprovince, Vietnam, along with related factors and intervention solutions. A cross-sectional descriptive research method was applied to a sample of 35 73 studentsrandomly selected from 15 secondary schools and 15 high schools. Information was
collected through a questionnaire on nutritional anthropometry, eating habits,  physical activity, and lifestyle. The results show differences between males and females in terms of height, weight, and BMI, with the proportion of students underweight (BMI < 18.5) at 45.42%, normal at 39.91%, and overweight or obese at 14.67%. The rate of myopia is also quite high, especially in high school students. The study also found unhealthy eating habits and a lack of physical activity among students, suggesting the need for interventions and education on nutrition and healthy lifestyles. This research contributes to a deeper understanding of the nutritional status and relatedfactors in Vietnam, especially among high school students
