Ultra High Performance Concrete (UHPC) technology to manufacture bridge girders with Usection, 50m span

Abstract

Research on Ultra High Performance Concrete (UHPC) technology applied to construction infrastructure in general, especially traffic infrastructure (road bridges) is a research area of interest to the world as well as in Vietnam. With many superior features compared to conventional reinforced concrete, UHPC allows the production of fishing girders with thin dimensions, light weight, high corrosion resistance and long service life, short construction time and very small maintenance fee. This paper presents studies on using UHPC to fabricate U-section bridge girders.
