Identifying the main risks in water supply activities In major urban areas in Vietnam

ABSTRACT:

In the water supply activities towards ensuring water safety, identifying precisely and adequately the associated risks holds a vital meaning in evaluating and managing risks in water supply. The potential risks in water supply management could steem from legislation (mechanism, policy, organisation, apparatus), activities of water supply system (source, treatment plant, collecting and distributing network…) and resources (finance and human capacity)… This article focuses on synthesizing and identifying the major risks in the operation of the water supply system, via which, effectively supporting the water supply enterprises in developing their water safety plan.
