Abstract

The assessment report of the Vietnam Construction Association shows that the country currently has about 78,000 enterprises operating in the construction industry with about 4 million employees in 2019. On average, each year Vietnam spends 30-40% of GDP on construction. The investment and development of infrastructure construction works shows the importance of human resources and requires quite a lot of human resources' ability to meet the complex work characteristics in the construction industry. In the context of increasingly fierce competition between construction companies, in addition to competing for projects and capital, high-quality human resources is also a very important competitive advantage. In order for employees to trust, ensure stability, stick with the company for a long time, and bring into full play their talents, the employer must regularly motivate employees, which is a practical solution.
