Improving provisions on land dispute resolution of the Draft of the Land law (amended)

Abstract

The article aims at making recommendations to improve the quality of the provisions on land dispute resolution of the Land Law Draft. The author uses land disputes and land dispute resolution practices in the Highland of Vietnam to demonstrate the practical analyses for making recommendations. The article first discusses the requirements for the land dispute provisions in the Land Law; it then analyses the current provisions of the Draft of the Land Law (amended) on the competence to resolve land disputes, based on which to make recommendations to improve the land dispute provisions in the Draft.
