Completing legal provisions on private bond offerings in Vietnam today

Abstract

In the past few years, private placement of bonds is one of the popular methods that real estate companies, construction companies, etc use to raise funds, because it is very flexible and simple. However, the overheating development of the bond market in general and the individual bond market in particular also has many potential risks and disadvantages for investors. The article focuses on analyzing the legal provisions as well as the current situation of private bond offering activities, thereby making some suggestions on improving the law governing private placement of bonds in Vietnam today.
