The need to have an educational philosophy for Hanoi Law University

Abstract

Philosophy originates from philosophical ideas but it is short in form and concise, and it plays a role of orienting the awareness and practice of mankind. Philosophy arises in all social activities including educational activities. There can be a common philosophy for different educational systems or a philosophy for the national educational system or a phylosophy for each area of education or a philosophy for each educational institution, etc. On the basis of analysing philosophy in general and educational philosophy in particular, the training purposes and cultural tradition of Hanoi Law University, the paper indicates the importance of defining an educational philosophy and proposes the educational philosophy for Hanoi Law University.
