Abstract

This article focuses on mathematics and statistics anxiety in the context of higher education, specifically exploring aspects within the assessment of the Statistics course for Social Sciences among 241 students at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University of Ho Chi Minh City. Students' evaluations of the course were examined through general observations, attitudes towards the course, and teaching styles of the instructors. By doing so, the article identifies the correlation between evaluations and students' academic performance, which holds theoretical and practical significance
