INTERACTION OF THE CoVs RBD WITH THE ACE2 RECEPTOR

Abstract

The amino acid sites of RBD that interact with ACE2 receptor of host were recognized by multiple sequence alignment of CoVs RBD. Based on the interaction of Sarbecovirus CoVs RBD and ACE2 receptor, the highest is similarity rate of human SARS-CoV2 and pangolin SARS-CoV 78.95 %, followed by human SARS-CoV2 and human SARS-CoV 52.63 %, the lowest is human SARS-CoV2 and bat SARS-CoV 26.32 %, human SARS-CoV2 and bat CoV 23.68 %. Human SARS-CoV2 (Sarbecovirus) is completely different from human MERS-CoV (Merbecovirus) and human CoV (Embercovirus), because the RBD of Merbecovirus CoVs and Embercovirus CoVs does not use ACE2 receptor
