HERITAGES - RESOURCES FOR DEVELOPING VIETNAM TOURISM

Abstract

Vietnam is a country which has many heritages, especially world heritage sites recognized by UNESCO under many titles: natural heritage, cultural heritage, intangible cultural heritage, heritage document assets, mixed heritage, multinational heritage. Heritages in Vietnam are really tourism resources which have the special and unique values for developing tourism. Therefore, we need to be aware of their potential as well as promote their values in tourism. This article writes about the definition, potential, current status as well as some main solutions in order to bring the heritage resources to developing quality and sustainable tourism
